Where there's no register to track
Not every regulator publishes one. Some of the jurisdictions we work in disclose no machine-readable licensee list — or no public register at all — so there is nothing here to mirror. We name them for transparency, and we add a register the moment one appears:
- Gibraltar — the Gambling Division publishes only aggregate operator counts, not a named licensee list.
- Costa Rica — no gaming regulator exists; operators run under a general data-processing permit, so there is no gaming register to publish.
- Panama, Tuvalu, Nevis — licences are issued, but no public online register is maintained.
- Malta (MGA) — a full register exists and is tracked here; it's captured from the regulator's own portal rather than a downloadable feed, so it refreshes on a slower cadence than the daily/weekly sources.

Methodology & reuse
Every dataset on these pages is pulled directly from the regulator's own public register — no third-party aggregators, no manual copying. An automated pipeline fetches each source weekly, normalises company names, licence numbers, types and dates into one schema, and records what was added or removed since the previous pull. Where a register publishes less (some list only company names), we track exactly what the regulator discloses, nothing more.
